Cause: Refugee Assistance
Success Story:
In Uganda, IRN implemented a livelihood restoration project for refugees
who had lost their income sources due to displacement. By providing refugees
with vocational training in skills like tailoring, carpentry, and agriculture,
IRN helped over 3,000 refugees regain their independence. The initiative
included micro-financing opportunities, allowing individuals to start small
businesses and support their families. This program contributed to a measurable
improvement in their overall well-being and self-sufficiency.
